We'd like to inform our membership of the recent proposed changes to ACNA's by-laws. In completion of an effort that began in 2015, the ACNA Board made certain changes to the Association's By-Laws to improve their clarity, simplify the way the Association conducts business, and to make the neighborhood association stronger. In particular, the by-law changes clarify the criteria for being a member or director of the Association; clarify what constitutes notice; simplify the membership fees; create staggered terms for Board members, and modify the neighborhood boundary to be more inclusive. A full summary can be found here. We will discuss further at our Annual Meeting on April 3, 2019.
